Dr. Jagadish Kaur
Dr. Kaur is the Founder president of WILGA. She is a medical doctor and public health expert and has worked in the Ministry of Health, Government of India for more than 15 years. Presently she is Regional Adviser, Tobacco Free Initiative at the WHO Regional office for South East Asia (SEARO). She has extensive national and international experience in non-communicable diseases including tobacco and mental health. Her areas of interest include women’s health and rights. She has special interest in the history and culture of India.
Prof. Naseem Shah
Professor Naseem Shah is currently working as the Professor of Dentistry at the North Delhi Municipal Corporation Medical College and Hindurao Hospital, Delhi. She is Ex Chief of the Centre for Dental Education & Research at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. She has held high positions in several national and international dental organizations and societies. She has innovated a novel, “regeneration-based technique” of root canal treatment called “SealBio” which is patentd at Australia and USA.
Dr. Smita Deshpande
Dr. Deshpande is Consultant, Professor and Head, Centre of Excellence, Department of Psychiatry & De-addiction Services & Resource Centre for Tobacco Control, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. Her areas of work include general adult psychiatry, autism, research, bioethics and post graduate psychiatric education. She has been an advisor to the Government of India and WHO in various areas of mental health and tobacco control.
Dr. Sarita Mittal
Dr. Mittal is a medical doctor trained in family and public health . At present she is working as Chief Medical Officer at MCD Health Facility in Delhi. She has extensive experience in women and child health in difficult to access and tribal areas in India. She is a qualified trainer on Women Health issues providing technical support to various civil society organizations all over the country.
Dr. Pratima Murthy
Dr. Murthy is DPM, MD (NIMHANS), DPM (University of Manchester, UK), FRCP (Glasgow). She is Professor of Psychiatry, Centre for Addiction, NIMHANS, Bangalore, Karnataka. Her areas of work include substance use and addiction, Human rights and forensic psychiatry, psychiatric training and service delivery, History of Psychiatry. She has been a consultant for UNODC, WHO, ILO and other UN agencies for addiction prevention and intervention training, reducing risk factors for non-communicable disorders, tobacco cessation and control.
Dr. Mira B. Aghi
Dr. Aghi is PhD (Chicago, USA) is a Behavioral Scientist and Communications Expert. She is affiliated to Healis Sekhsaria Institute of Public Health, Mumbai. She is a UN Consultant for Health and Development, specializing in designing strategies of Education and Communication for Behavioral Change. She has extensive experience in tobacco control and NCDs and her main focus area is disadvantaged women.
Dr. Karabi M. G. Majumdar
Dr. Majumdar is a Consultant Anthropologist & researcher. She is an M.Sc., M.Phil & Ph.D from University of Delhi. Worked in various National and International Organizations including Ministry of Health and WHO SEARO in the areas of Development and Human Rights, Public Health, Child Protection, Education and Women Empowerment, Tobacco Control and NCDs.
Mrs. R. Vijaya Kumari
Ms. Vijaya is an MBA(HR), M.Sc (Applied Clinical Psychology). Presently Principal Staff Officer in Ministry of Defence. Life Member, DMA and Indian Society for Trg & Development, MHRD. Emotional Intelligence, Soft Skill Training, Empowerment, Reiki healing, Multipronged Therapy are her core areas of specialization.
Dr. Indu Grewal
Dr. Grewal is a medical doctor with post graduation in public health. She is presently the Head of Health Promotion and Education Division at the Central Health Education Bureau under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. She has extensive field experience and is an expert trainer for public health programmes.
Ms. Arzoo Dutt
Ms. Dutt is presently working as Consultant, National Tobacco Control Program in the State of Assam. She is Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai and Masters in Special Education. She specializes in Social Welfare Administration, Public Health & Community Medicine
Ms. Prasanna Kannan
Ms. Kannan is a a trained Social Scientist with wide ranged experience in public health. She is a Master of Social Work, M.Phil. from Madurai Kamaraj University and specializes in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work including HIV/AIDS, Child Protection, Women Empowerment, Alcohol and Substance Abuse and Tobacco Control. She is presently working in the State of Tamil Nadu.
Dr. Triptish Bhatia
Dr Bhatia is Ph.D. and is presently a Research Consultant with Indo-US projects at the Department of Psychiatry, PGIMER, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. She is also trained from University of Pittsburgh in Public Health Genetics, Genetic Counselling and Psychiatric Epidemiology. Her areas of interest include basic and clinical research, Schizophrenia, Cognition, grant writing and mentorship.
Dr. Anuradha Balsavar
Dr. Balsavar is MD (Ayurveda ) and an expert in Ayurvedic medicine. At present she is a Research Officer at Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences at the Ayurveda Treatment Centre, PGIMER -Dr RML Hospital, New Delhi. She has technically supported several mental health research projects in the field of public health.
Ms. Ragini S. Raj
Ms. Raj is PG in Labour & Social Welfare, Post PG in Field Communication Research. She is a Senior Consultant in Public Health, and Ex Legal Counsellor (GOI). At Present she is a Faculty in MSME and International Faculty at WASME, Noida.
Dr. Amita Bahl
Dr. Bahl is a medical doctor and has worked with the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) for 25years. She was also Head of School Health Division at the Central Health Education Bureau under the Ministry of Health & family Welfare. Disaster Preparedness and Rehabilitation are her areas of expertise.

Ms. Prasad is a Business and Law student (B.B.A L.l.B), in the final year of Amity Law School and a part-time human rights activist. Her arears of interest include human and women rights.
Dr. Najmul Arif
Dr. Arif is a consultant at the School of International studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. Specialization in International Environmental Law, Human Rights and Special Education. Worked on several national and international projects related to environment, human rights, international boundary dispute, adult education, girls education, mass movements. Worked as a counselor for JNU Girl Hostel.

Dr. Chutani is Doctorate with specializing in Food &Nutrition & Post graduate Diploma in Epidemiology (PGDEpi) . Certified as “Registered Dietician (RD)” by the Indian Dietetic Association. Presently working as Chief Dietician, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India . Have Worked in different fields of Therapeutic Clinical Nutrition & Dietary Services for the last thirty years.

Ms. Jyoti is Special Correspondent with National Bureau, The Pioneer. She has thirteen years of experience in Journalism. She has also worked with the Press Trust of India, country’s reputed news agency and Asian Age besides Delhi Mid Day.her special interests include health issues, infectious diseases, environment, women’s development and child rights. Interested in politics and have, off and on, written about social issues. She has participated in international and national conferences on health and environment.
